Received a call from "Shanis" @ GE Money Bank offered a hardship agreement, if I made 3 payments they would not charge any late fees or interest during the 3 month time and at the end of the 3 months they would re-age my account to bring it current. At the end of the 3 months I actually continued to make payments and they began calling demanding a large sum, I explained what I had been offered gave the name and confirmation numbers where they drew from my account and with each call I was placed on hold and then told they would have to researc it and get back to me. They never did call back, I continued to pursue them until I could not get the situation resolved. They turned me to collection agency with whom I recounted the same happenings and again tried to pursue GE Money Bank to no avail. Now they want to sue me! Another agency is involved now and this agency has made me a settlement offer that they cannot seem to make good on either! As sooon as I agreed to it, they said they would call me right back with all the details so that I could get the court information turned in as well. Oh I received a call back and they were "sorry" but the offer they made me was not accepted????? They began with a new offer at more money and a larger monthly payment, I retorted that I could not do so however I countered them back and now they will not call me. So I am left with going to the court to detail out my situation! I regret ever using the Wal-Mart GE Money Bank CC. These companies need to be exposed for their fraudulent offers to people already struggling and trying to to the right thing!
