I also signed up for the "free trail" expecting to pay for postage & handling. The same thing happened I incurred further charges of appx AUD$190.00 with nothing to show for it. I tried phoning - no answer.
I then e mailed them asking for a refund. To my pleasant surprise I received a reply the very next day saying that my payments would be refunded. The refund was credited back to my account the day after Feb 9th, 2012. Wow. So apart from having to cancel a credit card I am no longer out of pocket just a little inconvenienced. I don't knwo what to make of these people but I no longer find them dishonest & feel morally obliged to report this.
Perhaps you should all do the same. Now for dealfun !
