Complaint 72026 Details

In an attempt to supplement our income (now $2,600 month) we signed up with Global Fortune Network on 06/09/2011. The first expense to do so was to pay Seahawk Strageties $275.00 for a "Financial Website and website kit" and $24.95 per month for the first month's hosting fee and every subsequent month (until 12/31/2011 when I cancelled it - $174.65 total) Next we were told that we needed to purchase 'leads' from Appolo Marketing Services for $5000, which we did on 06/14/11 - All the while, we are getting 'pep-talks' about how effective their advertizing program is, and how much money this will bring in. Next, on 07/01/2011 we spent $2000 on 'Web Media Exposure', and also $5,500 to get all these 'goodies' for another year. We were told that this was a greatly reduced price over purchasing the 2nd year at a later date. This adds up to $12,859.65.
We received a check for $100.00 on 08/08/2011, and another $100.00 on 09/06/2011, and then one check on 10/03/2011 for $15.19 - all this supposedly for one client that had purchased their debt settlement services. We never received another dime from the company and in spite of numerous phone calls to them, still have not received any more money or any explaination as to why. By checking your records, we see that many people have had bad experiances with Global Fortune Network. All of our expenses were paid for by our credit cards and needless to say, it has caused us great hardship and anxiety. Please advise us as to what to do next.
