SMS/Text Message Complaint Company: Bune LLC

I was signed up automatically for a Bune LLC/Mobile Media Products text subscription service. It was for trivia text messages (aka Cellflame IQ) at $9.99 per month. I immediately called AT&T to have the service canceled and the charges refunded, which they did promptly.

I have called the phone number (866-861-1606) in the text message several times and chatted with different agents. They have essentially ignored by request to speak with a manager. On my 4th call, told the agent that I would like to know how I was signed up and who was running the company because I am preparing a complaint to the FCC and the Attorney General of the state that they operate out of... I then mentioned it looked like they were owned by Bune LLC and were actually based outside the United States. (He said they were actually Mobile Media Products out of Boston, but I believe they're essentially one and the same.) The agent then quickly stated that he would have someone call me back within two days to provide more information. I'll see how that goes and report back here... or I might just call them again.
