They had a job listing on craigslist. I replied to the ad and then they sent me a link to accuscreenning.org (I was suspicious that it was misspelled.) They screen took my personal info and then wanted me to sign up for a trial period of experian credit reporting. That's when I realized it was a scam and a bogus job listing.

- So is it or is it not a scam? I too found a job posting on craigslist which responded after 24hrs with a form letter that gave me a code and a link to "careerscreening.org" (which is a sister site of accusreenning.org as i found when clicking "TCP" in the title of "TCP""The Screening Portal") when I clicked TCP it said "Welcome! // Site accuscreenning.org just created // Real content coming soon."

- Also, there was no last name, only a first and an initial given as senders signature. odd?

It allowed me to check a box saying that I had completed a similar credit check recently, then gave me this message:
Success!!: Your Application Was Successfully Submitted!
Thank you MYNAME. Your candidate package has been forwarded to our client. They will be in touch in the next few days to move forward. Please take the time to prepare for further contact from our client.
