WHAT AN INCREDIBLY SNEAKY CON!!!
As I was searching for recipes online I noticed an ad for slimming tablets. I was intending starting a health regime in the New Year (this was November) and as the ad said the tablets had other health benefits I decided to try the free sample. As advised I ordered both the Lean Slim and Lean Cleanse tablets. I looked for small print in the ad but there was nothing to suggest that there would be any hidden surprises. I admit I did not fully read the terms and conditions, which of course is what this company was hoping for. I received my free sample a couple of weeks later and used them every day for a month, with absolutely no affect what so ever. I was surprised when i received another pack in December with an invoice for $20 shipping costs. I meant to look into it but with Christmas and other family issues I didn't get around to it. When I received the 3rd pack in January I finally got around to checking my account to find that I had not been invoiced for 2 lots of shipping but 3 lots of $140. Not only had I been charged a ridiculous amount of money for a useless product but they didn't even send me the 3rd shipment. They actually charged me for the 1st shipment before I received the free sample. I could not find any email from the company or get in touch with anyone through the initial website. As i payed with a debit card i cannot claim my money back but i have been able to cancel any further payments. This is the 1st time i have ever bought into anything like this and i certainly have learned my lesson. I just wish something could be done to stop these unscrupulous companies from conning other unsuspecting people.
