Goodman will not pay for a power vent motor for my funance under warranty because the repair was not performed by a Goodman distributor. The fact is that I first contacted a licensed Goodman contractor who was closed for a one week period, so I called another Furnance repair who fixed it immediately. I am sure that they must have gotten the part from the local Goodman supply house. At any rate it makes no sense to me that a company would compromise consumer relations over such a trival reason.
