Complaint 70403 Details

I was on-line looking for grant money for my small business and came across this company and contacted them. They assured me that they could get me grant money for my for profit business and took some information from me and called me back telling me that I was eligable for up to $250,000.00 in grant money and that the $2900.00 was payment for them to write a business plan and do all the applications and paperwork involved in grant writting. This was in late August early September of 2011, after numerous phone calls and e-mails I still have not seen any money or any proof that this company is for real whenever I did get to speak to the person I was to be in contact with there was some issue either the person no longer worked there or was out sick, and they couldn't find all the paperwork that I had to fill out for them giving them the information they requested in order to write a business plan. What they finaly after months sent me the business plan and basicly used the same wording that had used the only difference was they added charts to the plan, still no answers. I have contacted them to request my money back and get no answer to that request. What a shame that these people are allowed to have a licence to get away with such things. I have worked hard to get to this point in my life and do not appriciate being scammed.
