Bought a female maltese for $150 from a man name Terry Nickson (email is [email protected]). Deposited $100 to pay the pet courrier service to deliver it to my house in Texas from Tallahassee, FL. The rest should be paid when the dog gets here, sounded legit at first. Emailed me information to send money to Douala, Cameroon. Should've stopped there but thought it would come through. Told me the dog would be here 745 am today. Got a call from the company (206-414-0982) saying needed to pay $650 for the dog's insurance. Saying it's being held up at Gulfpoint, MS by pet control and would be in quarantine if I don't pay the insurance. Told them I'm not paying anything else and wanted my money back. Got no response from them. Not expecting to see my money again, but hopefully this will help anybody who's planning to buy any kind of pets online! BTW, found the ad on pennysaverusa.com

My girlfriend also received the similar call in Toronto, Canada. This company asked for $200 to be delivered by Western Union. The details for sending the money was:

COUNTRY.......... CAMEROON
Thanks to this website that she saved herself from loosing $200 from these people. They are total scam! -

Good morning,
I am just coming back from the delivery company where i went to register the male puppy, when i left, they were processing his papers and promise to contact you once they are done. During the registration of the puppy, i made a payment of $50 via Western Union to the delivery company for his registration and they promise to contact you on how you shall be going about making the payment of $200 to them for them to have him deliver to your home and also how you shall be receiving him home. i would like you to keep me posted once they contact you and also send me photos of him in your arms once he arrive your home today.
