Federal Housing Bureau is an organization that claims to help homeowners in foreclosure to stay in their homes. The dispute with them is that they charged me for an extra month of their service after I requested cancellation of their services, and after I had successfully modified my mortgage. They have been uncooperative, and my requests with Gene Works, their Regional Independent Solutions Representative have rendered my no option other than pursuing a small claims action to get this money back. Overcharging customers when they are in a distressed situation is predatory, and demonstrates bad business practice. Their website is http://federalhousingbureau.org/ and http://genefulmer.com. I don't know who Gene Fulmer is, but BEWARE, it is the same company.
In my opinion, Gene Works and Federal Housing Bureau did not take my complaint seriously, and just tried to brush it under the rug. It is my opinion that Federal Housing Bureau does not care about what is important to their customers. Their only concern is that they get that extra few dollars for that extra month's billing.
