I was selling something on Craigslist. Received an email from someone in TX wanting to purchase a loveseat ($500). Said he (Larry Edward) would pay to have a shipper (Edward Medrano, 10429 Success St., Corpus Christi, TX 78401). I was to send $300 via Western Union for $18 fee, which I did 2/2 then received an email requesting an additional $400 for $28 fee, which I did on 2/4 for taxes, custom dues - since they thought is was a CAR. It is a loveseat not a car. I then get an email today, 2/5 requesting an addition $700 then the $ would be put into my paypal account. I am NOT sending any more money. I looked on the internet and this Edward Medrano is under the scam listing. I AM OUTRAGED!!! I can't afford to lose $700 and this paypal email looked legitit and I have never heard of any Paypal transaction going like this.
