i was directed to this company to purchase a used hot water tank, they are listed on craigslist as well. I called and was told that the tank was 125.00 and 20.00 for delivery, i agreed and they delivered the tank when the drivers arrived they took my payment and when they got the tank in i asked why was it so banged up i was told that the inside was what counts and it worked fine and i have a 90 day warranty. we installed the tank and water ran everywhere, I called him 02/02/2012 and asked if i could exchange it for another that worked "Buddah" (the owner)..said no i could come and get different parts from his store that i should have one his guy's install it so that it could be "tweaked" to work. I then asked him can i have my money back without the delivery fee he said No we do not give cash refunds. then told him i would be contacting 19 action news for help, he then called me at 10pm 02/02/2012 saying i could exchange for another if i paid him an extra 80.00 for a tested one for the one he sold me was not tested. I then asked him how is it you sell a tank that you are not sure that works, he told me that tested tanks are 185.00 and untested ones are 125.00. I said to him if you had told me that in the very begining i would have told you no thank you i am not a plumber so i would not no the first about testing a water tank and that is misleading. he then said he have 10 stores and have been in business for 9 years . I think he hsould be stopped because it is not fair, nor he is not registered with the state so that means he is not paying taxes and the tanks he's selling ...where are they coming from...something just does not add up . I am in the process of filing a case in small claims court against this company because no one should have to keep something that does not work . I paid for this tank to hold me until i could get out and purchase a new one in which i did from home depot with a 6 year waranty for 300.00 and he wanted to charge me 389.00 for a "tested " one and warranty it for 1 yr?......Please help me to expose this company so that no one else will be taken by this thug ! try him out yourself if you wish his phone number on craigslist is 440-279-7933...he doe not answer the phone right away you will get a better response by texting him (sad)...and the store number is 216-481-8123 tell him you located him from craigslist and watch the SCAM! Thank You !
