A Ms. Andrews called and left message on my phone answering machine. the number is 214 396-4701. She said i needed to call back, this is an urgent call. when i called back, she anwered phone as , "Ms. Andrews." I asked her who is this and what is this place i am calling. she asked me did i get a call from one of the attorneys. i told her i got call from her. she said i was mistaken it had to have been an attorney. i told her no, it was her that left a message to return call. right then i knew something was shady. she then asked me my name. i told her, then she said hold on let me get you to the attorney who is handling your case. i said what case? anyway, this very rude guy got on phone and claimed he was an attorney. told me he was about to file a felony charge against me in my county, sheriff was going to pick me up that day if i did not pay them 1350.00 now. i told him i did not have that kind of money now. i asked him what was this regarding. he said i owe a payday loan from 2009 and he was not about to let me walk away. he said i did this loan off of a closed account. when i began to ask questions he got loud and so nasty. i asked him why was he so nasty. he got even nastier. he said he would give me 30 minutes to have this money and call back with debit card so he could get money, if not i was going to jail and be under a 50,000 bond. he told me he didi not care how i got it but i had better get it. so after i hung up phone, i googled this number and did research on this number. this number is in Dallas, to a cell phone. other numbers are listed with it. so i called back and ms. andrews answered phone. by her supposedly being the secretary i wanted to leave a message. she told me she does not deliver messages. this guy got on the phone asking me why was i giving her a hard time. i told him i was just talking to her to give him a message. he got so nasty and belligerent. he told me i say nothing to her, he is running this show. i hung up the phone. i called back next morning, she answered phone. i asked her the name of this law firm again. i asked her why is there no website for this firm. she got angry. i asked her why are they using a cell phone as there business phone. she got so made and said lady you don't know what you talking about and not to call her cell phone again. she hung up on me. have not heard from them again. Note: when i did talk to guy i asked him what bank was this closed acct on. when he told me, i asked him how could that be when i have had that account since 2001 and it is still active? he then got upset and said, it doesn't matter.
