Rec'd a letter with a check in the amount of $2950.00. The letter said it was the first part of a $50,000 prize for a "reward promotion draw" for customers of Walmart, Sears, Home Depot, Safeway, ASDA for the 4th quarter of 2011. Since Wal Mart and Sears are not owned by the same parent company, I checked the web and found this site. The check is from Citibank, One Penn's Way, New Castle, DE. There is no Citibank at that address according to their branch locator. The letter goes on to say I need to contact my claims rep and pay $1350.00 to my assigned tax agent. Um, no.

  • Ditto on posting above. ITA Lisa Limited sending a crudely torn out check from "CITIBANK", it's hilarious... they actually use comic sans font on the check in one section, something citibank would never do. But, the real dealbreaker that these chuckleheads forgot is that there is no Willmalton, DE 19802. Anyone knows immediately that they were trying to say Wilmington, DE 19802.
