I already made a post regarding this but went back to put my name in there so it would not be Anonymous. But I cannot see where to do that so I'm making a new post. At this point this is MORE THAN just about not being paid!
I am LaVie from Hawaii. I was Scammed out of $800. promised to me to be paid into my pay pal weekly for recruiting last year. I DID IN FACT work my back side off, for these people. I asked for a contract which they said was not something they normally do but since I insisted they said they would...yet I never got one. I kept waiting for it to come, while continuing to work for them in good faith. Finally after two weeks I basically said, "I don't work for free". They also promised to pay me $4,500. for a four hour photo shoot. Which they stood me up on. I've since met several others that have had the same type of experience. Promises they don't follow through with and people that work and never see the check. Yet the CEO will make up stories for all of us out here posting these complaints. He's a smooth talker. But few girls I've met with same stories are NOT intimidated by this person Paul Cirillo. He's, in his own words, "flying under the Radar"(said that when working for him) with his business and he KNOWS he we have documentation on him, thus we stand up and speak our stories. BEWARE OF RAPUNZEL MODELS / URBAN HAIR PRODUCTIONS (photography) and several other names he uses!!!!
What I noticed in contacting other girls that seems to be a pattern of this company is that as soon as you start to ask to many questions, example:'When I'm paid how will taxes be taken out"? Are you a licensed cosmetologist? (since he claimed to be doing my hair), what is your business license number? where and what time is my photo shoot? and where is my pay that you promised?" at this point you will never hear from them again!!! I mean NEVER!! I have heard this story over and over again from other girls for the last year...and it happened ditto to me!! Most won't speak up on about it on line. I'm guessing because it's humiliating to admit to being duped!
Also there is a photographer, Larry Miller from Kansas who has posted a BEWARE site about this. If you google "Rapunzel Models /Urban hair scam /Photography Heritage Photography" you will see it. You must have Larry and Heritage phot. also to bring up the warning site. According to Mr. Miller.. In the beginning of meeting Paul ceo of this company he "thought" they were legit...so he referred many many of his models to Paul Cirillo and Urban Hair / Rapunzel. They had bad experiences and promises for shoots too,(and more) thus Mr. Miller started investigating this company which lead to setting things to public by creating a much needed post. Pauls pattern is to make up a story to cover his back side when you confront him about these public posts. He has fabricated a story about each person and each circumstances that makes it all justified ...JUST BEWARE. This man is slick and cunning!!
I hope this post helps someone. I don't like posting these things. but I really feel it's NEEDED.

p.s. Remember: Do not let this company intimidate you if you stand up to them! Some of us that did not get contracts at least have "saved" internet conversations on our facebooks and emails. This man would truly melt in a court of law. Remember, "he is flying under the radar". ..and HAS been getting away with this for years. He claims to be tops in the state of New York. I cannot find documentation of this ANYWHERE. Ask him for his business license and check him out before you even proceed with talk of hair shoots. PLEASE! And by ALL means be careful about sending him your own images (photos) unless you have a large copyright on them.
