I got a telephone marketing call for credit card interest rate reduction from National Credit Card Monitor LLC, Gino Niccoli CEO. The promise was to lower interest rates on all your credit cards within 90 days with annual savings of $2,500.00 for $599.00. The scam is that the $599.00 is immediately charged to your credit card, raising the debt and hoping you would not object when the bill came with a higher debt but lower payments and interest rates.

The savings were designed to reach $2,500 in one year but your payments were lower for a longer time at lower interest. Want a refund? The variety of post office addresses given for the company and their "debt negotiator affilliates" (Proactaive Planning Solutions, Complete Financial Strategies) guarantee you will not get a "guaranteed" return of your money when you figured this out. Kiss your $599.00 goodby and say hello to higher debt if you fall for this one. Their next move may be to sell your credit card information.

  • Just got a call from Nick Louis from National Bank Card Monitor...
After I let him say what he needed to say, I told him I'd run this idea past my girlfriend, he said "I'll wait while you speak to her" I told him she wouldn't be home from work for another hour and a half. He was very persistant in telling me he'd wait on the line or call me back in 5 minutes (while I called her at work) for my decision to give him a credit card number and go ahead with this.
I told him I wasn't in that big of a hurry to do this and I'd wait until she got home.
Nick started to get a little "huffy" with me and told me they close before she gets home and I'd have to wait till Monday... (I have debt, but it's not enough that a weekend is going to make any difference) ...anyways, I made my desicion to NOT use them when Nick hung up on me...he didn't even say goodbye... :-( ...then I found this site and confirmed my desicion.
Thanks to those of you that posted on these guys, it was fairly convincing.
