2 young ladies came to my door selling subscriptions to magazines to be donated to childrens hospitals and/or shelters. I fell for it hook, line and sinker. Normally I would have checked them out before giving them any money but my 87 year old mother is in the hospital and not doing well so my mind is elsewhere. The shame of this whole thing is it will only hurt people who are generous and care about others.
