I recieved a call stating that the Global lottery and my local UPS was trying to deliver a Car and a check to me, and that I had won the Global Lottery. I talked with the man who explained my winnings for nearly an hour, At the end of the conversation he gave me a name and address and stated that I needed to western Union 1286.00 to the provided address before noon today so that when the winnings showed up i had a receipt showing I paid the shipping Charges..... I then ask for a phone number that I could call to confirm this winning and the man wouldnt give me a number, I also ask if he had a director of the buisness that I could confirm with and he stated he was the director after he had already said at the beggaining of the conversation that he worked as a claims verification offficer for the Global lottery. At this time I stated I believed this was a scam< and the man got frustrated and said well then we will send you a form stating that u want the winnings to go to charity u need to sign and send that back......I said no I want the winnings i just want confirmation that this is real.....Then the man called me a Dumb (Inappropriate Content Removed) and hung up!! the name he gave was Omar Phillips Phone number 1-876-398-4977. he also gave the name Esta Furgeson Address 507 west hill ave Mount Pleasant IA 54326 and that is where he wanted me to send western union check to. This is very upsetting for a low income single mother!!! I hope someone catches these guys soon. I called local law inforcment who said they cannot do anything that these scammers have beeen doing this in the area and that they are from Jamaca. And that they cannot do anything about it
