I got an automated call saying that if I took a 10 question survey I'd win 2 free cruise tickets to Nassau Bahamas. I took the survey, and was directed to a real person, who asked a few questions, like my zip code, phone number and name. I went to the surveycruise website to "claim" my free cruise. It asked me to check which item I wanted (big screen TV and a few other things) and I clicked not interested, and it went to an ERROR page. They called me relentlessly multiple times a day, leaving voicemails, and finally I answered and he said he wanted to confirm my info and I told him I wasn't interested. Ever since I did the actual survey, I've been getting 5 or more calls and voicemails a day (800 888 or strange area codes #s) from foreigners wanting to give me a "continuing my education" survey. I ask how they got my # and they all say it came from a survey website. I'm going to have to change my phone number because this is just ridiculous. They didn't get my money, but they gave my cell # to God knows how many people. It's harassment.
