I received a text msg saying "This is Karl, you may have an inheritance from a family member. Please contact me at [email protected]. When I contacted him and asked who died he replied "Can't share much via sms. Pls email: [email protected]. Imagine that--Scam Scam Scam! As the saying goes if it's too good to be true it isn't! (not that I believed it for a minute since I have not had any family members die in recent months)
It's unfortunate that people like this are able to continue to obtain email accounts and prey on people who may not know better.
