I posted an ad on Craigslist to rent a room. The rent was supposed to be $450.00 a month. She sent a check for $2,500.00 and she wanted me cash it and send the difference via Western Union to the Ukraine. I didn't send any cash because I waited to see if the check would bounce. Of course it bounced. This is money laundering. This cost me lots of bank fees, embarassment and reputation at the bank.
