I thought I had found an ugg outlet when I searched on yahoo and the site came up it had the official ugg logo offered free 30 day returns and said the products were %100 authentic, i could track my order process on the site (although that stayed in "processing")and they said they provided tracking information for the order once it had been shipped.
I purchased some boots and I panicked as soon as the transaction went through as my card usually has to be authorized by a password with verified by visa but it didnt ask for authorization.
I checked my account and the transaction was pending so I phoned my card company and unfortunately they couldnt stop the transaction so they blocked my card and sent me a new one and said to wait and see if i received the goods.
I received a confirmation email from the merchant and a delivery estimate so waited......and waited......nothing arrived i emailed the merchant who replied saying my order had been lost in transit and asked if i still needed the order? well duh!
anyway after lots of emails and wasted time the site disappeared and I still have the email address from the merchant (one was even sent off a blackberry apparently) so im not holding my breath but iv informed my card company who have sent me dispute forms and they are now dealing with it! Its made me feel really really stupid and I thought I was quite aware on the internet but this site was extremely convincing and although i have learnt my lesson i see it as a very expensive one!!
