I purchased an Everex laptop off of Newegg.com a little less than a year before it broke. the thing randomly wouldn't work one day and I kept it on my desk its whole lifespan. I took care of that thing but one day i go to turn it on and the screen flashes then it turns off. I tried calling the company, Everex to see what the deal was and to return it for another under the year "warranty" but there phone was not a real number and I looked up the company and they are no longer in the U.S. and they ditched out to a different company. They made a bunch of cheap laptops that had good specifications at the time and had good prices but were built horribly inside. They did this so they could make a bunch of profit selling laptops with cheap parts then ditching out of the country so they dont have to worry about the warrenty.
