I am a culprit of not paying close enough attention to what was going on. DealFun led me and others I am sure to think that it would be easy to bid and win. It was the Kindle that enticed me. I did not see the price of the bid packet; that is my fault for not reading carefully. They now have my $69.95 and they can keep it; this whole thing is a scam. I will not sit for minutes, hours, days, waiting and thinking I can outbid ANYONE!!!!

  • @Chris from Dealfun, I came across Dealfun through an adsense ad which read:“Overstock iPads: $30.93 – http://www.DealFun.com/iPad – Get 32GB Apple iPads for $30.93. Limit 1/Customer. Australia Only.”

On the landing page, it displayed an icon of an Australian flag with the notation "Proud to be Aussie". And it mentions that Dealfun is able to sell so cheap because they buy overstocked and liquidation items. I don't think an iPad 2 is an overstocked item, and even at $30, that represents a revenue of 3000 bids x 50¢ per bid = $1500. No, overstocked and liquidation items are not the reason you can sell so cheap.

    That's not misleading?
