My credit card was charged $19.95 on 12/23/11 from Experian. I contacted them via email with a complaint. Their first response was: August 15, 2011 you enrolled in a 7-day trial credit monitoring membership from ExperianDirect.com. They also said the monthly fees were $17.95. I replied that I had not enrolled in anything and to refund my my account. I also asked them to provide documented proof that I had enrolled. They did not. It is curious that the first charge was in December, and they claim I signed up in August. And the amount is $2.00 more than what they said. I am still pursuing my refund.
