I noticed two charges on my credit card statement, both notated as "foreign currency transactions" (I live in Canada). I have not bought anything online in recent months and have not been to the USA lately, so knew something was odd. Looking at the transaction descriptions, they did not seem familiar. When I researched them on the web, I knew I was the victim of a scam and decided to see what could be done about it.
