This person offered to build a website that I designed, then tried to claim it was her intellectual property. Once my first lawyer resolved the matter, she was supposed to be out of the picture, but I have found out as of yesterday that she still has not fully turned over the controls of the site. I am suing her for the cost of my site and my attorney fees from the previous interaction.

  • Mr. Saadiq's customized web development project was scheduled for completion of July 1, 2011. Full payment was not made until Sept 2011. (3 mths late) Over 1500 hours of work completed on this project we have yet to be paid for. We also registered and hosted the domain. We charge $1500 for standard CMS websites and require a Non-compete & non-disclosure agreement. Plugins, Modules, Components and extra labor hours are an additional fee. Domain registration and domain hosting are all separate services that we offer. Mr. Saadiq received at least a 60% discount and was charged only $650 for all services. (copy of receipt available) His domain was hosted at almost nothing for 4 mths. This man verbally agreed to our terms but never returned our Non-compete & non-disclosure agreement instead he had a lawyer call us that had not been retained. He was interested in stealing our ideas, models created to stream income and intellectual property without paying for it. His domain was to be moved off our server In July when project was complete. Final payment was not received until September (3 mths late) In spite of the outstanding balance owed to us, we gave him a break and did not shut his site down. Impress Live cooperated with his new domain host to transfer services & provided EPP codes in Sept 2011. He is no longer with that hosting company most likely due to non-payment. In January 2012 we received another call for EPP codes to assist Mr. Saadiq again with domain administration for the 2nd time to transfer his domain to to another hosting company. We waived all fees and cooperated to ensure a successful transfer. Furthermore, since we registered the domain we administered the account. As of Jan 2012 all domain administration services were released to Mr. Saadiq. Mr. Saadiq was a friend that we wanted to see win. Unfortunately This project was started on a false pretense with Saadiq's hidden agenda. We are only interested in producing win-win results. Impress Liv
