Complaint about Chicago Performance


I pre-order Yamaha R6 engine parts from Chicago performance in the amount of $923.00 on 10/1/2011. Ken the owner of Chicago Performance shop told me that I need to pay him and he does not have these kinds of parts and he will have to place the order on Tues Oct 3rd from Yamaha. Also, that it is weekend. I went home but I decided to cancel the order because of family issue. I tried to call Ken from Chicago Performance just after few hours on the same day, but no calls back. Then I sent two emails to his business asking to please not order the parts. The reason why I did that is because he told me that he would place the order on Tuesday Oct 3rd so I figured there is no harm cancelling since nothing was ordered.

I called Ken again on Tuesday at 10:00 AM when he starts his business and he picked up and I explained all the stuff above I am pretty much asked him to please cancel the order and return my money back to my account.

Coming up Friday Oct 21st we reaching our 3rd week and I still didn’t get any calls from Ken. Not even, ONE SINGLE CALL was made from Ken to me saying that he is working on it and we are sorry about the trouble. Things that normal businesses will do to keep the customers happy.
Chicago Performance promised to place the order on Tuesday Oct 3rd and I cancelled my order on same date Oct 1st. He never called me to follow up and apologize for the issue even when I was calling for status multiple times.
I called credit card company and file dispute since I did not hear from business owner Ken. He calls me after he got the charged back and threatened to use his friends and do some harm if I don’t pay him back. I never filed charge back in my entire life on my credit card and he is the 1st one EVER. I have email that shows I emailed Chicago Performance asking to cancel the order on the same date (Oct 1st).
Chicago Performance then calls Credit Card Company and sends them receipt of the pre-order with the lie that I purchased parts and walk with them. My credit card company makes a charge back to my card.
I never receive any parts or any services from Chicago Performance. Also, these engine parts are not available in any store. An order must be placed to Yamaha manufacture. This business does not return calls or emails.
This business also went to public motorcycle forum and wrote all kinds of stuff about me and destroyed my reputation using my real name and details.
