I, too, was scammed by this guy Joe Black.
Some time last year, after I had completely paid off my application for a Canadian pardon, I had a $230 unauthorized charge on my credit card. I kept calling him to find out what this was about and I would never have heard back from him if I didn't threaten to dispute the charge. He then told me that it was an amount that RCMP was charging him for my application.
I filed my application a year and 5 months ago and now I am really upset that I have wasted all that time for nothing.
After having read all the negative feedback from others he has scammed, I'm really not sure how to proceed from here.
I wish there were a way to stop this man from scamming people who simply want to start their lives over.
I don't even know who to report him to or what to do now.
I just found all this out today and it is heartbreaking to find out that the fresh start I had been looking forward to is not coming.
All this has made me lose all faith in humanity.
How can these people still sleep at night?

  • 'Joe Black' is a liar and a thief. He has screwed me around for almost a year and he is not interested in resolving anything.

I have contacted Kathy Tomlinson at [email protected] to see if the tv people will help us. If 'Joe' has scammed you as well I suggest you contact the CBC as well.

Good luck to all of you, warn your friends...
