Mr. Dixon advertised a 2002 Gulf Stream Recreational Vehicle in the Atlanta Journal Constitution on various dates. I contacted Mr. Dixon via email and told him I was interested in purchasing the RV. He told me the RV was located in Orlando and wanted the transaction to be processed through Trader Publishing Business Purchase Protection Program. He said that he would deliver the RV in 3 to 5 days following the process through the Protection Program. Mr. Dixon used [email protected] and [email protected] to answer my emails. I emailed him that my brother lived about 20 miles from Orlando and requested that Mr. Dixon provide a point of contact so my brother could look at the RV. I also informed Mr. Dixon that I had checked on the Protection Program and there were no good reviews and that I was going to check with BBB. Mr. Dixon did not answer my request and when I tried to email him at the above addresses the messages were returned as non-deliverable. I also tried to call the number (Personal Info Removed) Mr. Dixon provided and was informed that person was not available and to leave a message. I did leave a message and am fairly sure that he will not return the call. Even though the experience did not cost me any money, I believe this could have cost me $6,000 or more if I had followed through without checking the Protection Program Mr. Dixon recommended.
