I received a fake check in the mail. Luckily, I knew better than to deposit it. The return address on the envelope is: (Personal Info Removed). It was sent to my home address. The envelope was postmarked Phoenix, AZ. The check was supposedly from Power-One Renewable in Camarillo, CA. The bank on the check is Union Bank of California, with a misspelled word (Disbursement is spelled incorrectly) and that bank is supposedly in Boston, MA. That's FOUR different addresses! And I never heard of them, so I knew better than to deposit the check.
