My wife's attention was caught by an advertising link on her Hotmail page showing, apparently, a woman in Surrey, england who had supposedly benefitted from using some skin creams.
On further examination it transpired that the two special skin products were available on special trial at discounted price.
What she did not appreciate was when she decided to take advantage of the trial offer this would entail two further payments coming out of her account, so instead of paying £6.00 she eventually paid £186.00. As with any skin product it is impossible to know whether or not it actually does any good. These people hide behind post office box numbers and their web page does not function properly because none of the visible links actually work. The whole thing is a clever con trick, and it is frustrating that the police and other authorities are reticent to investigate. However, I have managed to get our local police fired up and they will be getting Scottish police to check out the Linlithgow connection.
