I was contacted in May 2011 from "Chris Johnson" promising me a generous income making money by having a web mall. I paid $199.00 platinum for 60 stores and another $2,700.00 for them to build me a custom website with Google Adsense and an Amazon Assosciate store. I was promised that I would receive at least 100,000 visitors to these sites within the first year and was promised a 1.3% average return on my investment monthly. I was promised help from a coach who never called! I was the one who always had to call them and could never get a solid answer as to why I have not earned any money and knowing that items had been bought by me and others through both of the sites. I spoke with "Nicole Hopwood" and "Alexandra Day" who were "coaches" and they could not tell me my earnings for the quarter, only that a program was being built by Web Media to keep track of this. (to this day I have not been able to view my earning through Web Media). The real kicker, after five months into this, told me I would get paid quarterly by Web Media and monthly by Amazon. A quarter would pass with no checks. Then I was told since I joined in the middle of a quarter I would receive a combined check for two quarters. I waited six months, no money. Another quarter passed with plenty of hits and sales I knew of, with still no compensation. You can call them and they will increase your hits, but if you don't call for two months, your hits will go down substantially. Each time I called I was asked how much money I had put into the program. Why? So they could add my total to the list they already have for scamming others? When I called, I got the run-around or voicemail. I was also told that it would take 7-10 days after the quarter for the stores to turn in all their reports and I would receive compensation. No action from them. The websites look legitimate for the ordinary folks like myself. I am going to contact them again to see what other "brilliant" lies they can tell me. I have never been given a manager or owner to talk to when requested, only that they are busy or out of the office. All I would like to have at this point is my money back. I should have known that anything with a 7 day refund policy was a scam. Most businesses offer 30-90 days for refunding anything! I honestly believed this was a legitimate business opportunity to help me financially continue to be a stay-at-home mom, but unfortunately Web Media gladly took my hard earned $2,900.00 and gave me two websites that will work, I guess for one year, and has made me look like a fool in front of my family and friends by advertising this business.

  • Cory, I foolishly fell in the same trap. I had 40000 hits on my site only to be told that I made 0 dollars. How can we get our money back?
