So I was selling an Ipad on craigslist and after 2 weeks, a person finally responded. It was a long distance so it was partially my fault but I used ebay which I thought was ok. So, after 3 days of me sending her a request for 500 dollars on ebay, she gave me an email that was from ebay. It looked like it was from ebay but If I looked closely there was a lot of problems I.E. Ebay says Dear *name* but the scammer did dear *email* but I didn't pay enough attention. On the Email, it was using the exact same everything on the page except for those small details. They even had the etrust and the verisign trusted logo at the bottom of the page! So after I sent it, it says that I Have to put my shipping stuff on like the tracking number. After that, they still didn't give me my money and now they made another fraud email saying you have to give 500 dollars extra for out of country deals. That looked suspicious so I researched and I found that everything was a scam! I told the scammer to give me back my ipad (64 gb with 3g) but she never replied again. Now I have to buy a new Ipad and I almost lost 500 dollars!
