On Amazon I clicked to purchase a CHI brand hair straightener. With the click I believe I was re-directed and tricked into buying this "knock-off" at a better price. Unaware that I was "duped" the product was received, and put away (without opening) until Christmas. My daughter opened her present, but it never did work. It looks exactly like a CHI, the packaging looks authentic, and even the instructions give the "Farouk" phone numbers for service. After the third attempt go get through to Farouk Systems the Customer Service rep told me it was a fake.
