I was at the The Philip Goldson International Airport in Belize City, Belize and my plane was delayed. I went into the terminal to place a phone call to the United States to let my family know. I had just input my credit card number and my sister's phone number when it was announced that the plane was ready to take-off; therefore, I hung up the telephone. I was charged for the phone call; however, the call was never placed and it didn't even ring. After I input the phone number, the automated voice asked if I would like to hear the rates, but that is when I hung up. I should not have been charged for the call since the call never went through and I never spoke to anyone besides the automated menu.
