Posted Honda for sale on Craigslist.com. Got an e-mail from subject business asking a couple questions about the car. Then received following e-mail:

The contract is strictly no call due to the lack of reception on the sea area. But I'm able to access email anytime as we will make use of laptop so my only quickest payment option is PayPal as i can send money via PayPal anytime.Since I'm requesting this transaction to be done via PayPal, i will be responsible for all the pay pal fee/charges on this transaction and if you don't have an account with paypal,it s pretty easy, safe and secured to open one. Needless to say, I believed this was a scam, so I ended it by telling this person that my husband was a cop and we don't use PayPal. Watch out for this scammer.

- I just put my Pathfinder on Craigslist and got the same e-mail (word for word) from this person. I probed with more questions and the replies just got sketchier. I researched the name and found your post. Thanks!

I was just contacted by Sydney Doogue about a vehicle I listed on Craigslist. He is using [email protected] and [email protected]. His first question was strange as most people wouldn't want to know the original owner's name and most vehicle owners wouldn't know. The way he worded his questions makes me believe that English is not his first language. He asked the following:
Hi,
Is the item still up for sale??Get back to me soon with
1.Who is the first owner?
2.does it have any scratches or problem
3.How much are you willing to sell it?
4.Can you send me more pics?
