In Salt Lake City, Ut we have a Classified selling tool called KSL Classifieds. On 12/27/11 I discovered an add that read: Cute English Bulldog puppy for free adoption to a caring home. "Paris" is current with all shots and great with kids. She will come along with all her belongings. For more pictures and information on how to pick up this puppy Email to [email protected]. I Emailed this individual and he replied back that through his prayers, he and his family had chosen me to be the new owner of Paris. I was sent more pictures of the puppy and instructions on how to wire the $50.00 to him. He would take care of all transporting fees, transfer of ownership papers and medical records. He would be shipping Paris on Air Europa Carego. He requested the funds be wired to Melissa Lopez in Madrid Spain using Zip Code #0034. This is where I became leery. Dr woods claims to be working for the Baptist Mission in Madrid and that he and his wife don't have the required time to spend with this puppy.
Please do not fall for this scam as I am broken hearted. I have all documentation and copies of my Emails with this individual including an international phone# which he claims is 005215527876490.

- I spoke with these people as well via e-mail. They told me everything in the above report as well, except for the wiring the funds. The ad I saw was in the Denver Post Backpages. As soon as they said they were from Spain and would ship the dog here it stopped making any sense. Why would they ship a dog to the States rather than just find a home there? The stress alone on a 12 wk old puppy makes no sense. Happily I looked into this before I sent them a dime, and my suspicions were confirmed when I found the above report. - Thanks for posting Juliusq, Makes you wonder how many other people they have taken advantage of. It infuriates me to no end. People like this need to stopped. Thanks again for your support in getting the word out there. We need more people to come forward.

It is awful to prey on people like this, and using a puppy nonetheless. I intend to send them a scathing e-mail on this. I am sure they won't care, because people like that never do, but maybe it will seep into their consciousness a little and at least cause a little guilt, which is about as much payback as we can hope for. I know $50 isn't a lot of money, but thanks for saving me the money and the stress! :-) Hopefully more people will be saved by your review. At least you got some good deeds from this to balance out their bad ones! Thanks again! -

- I was about taking by these losers to about an hour ago was getting the dog for my lil girl for valentines day.Glad i listned to my husband and ran the guys name first and found all of ur comments.I am so heart broken right now that poor puppy was so cute and i feel so sorry for it.It said on the ad I seen their location was in carbondale illinois so they are hitting up all the big newspapers classified.now to email them back and tell them they failed ripping me off and give them a piece of my mind.The really sick part is he says god this and god that when he really does need god himself.
