They mailed us an invitation offering a "Complimentary Cruise for 2" in exchange for our attending a sales presentation on membership in their travel club.
My Wife & I attended the presentation. At the conclusion, in order to get the "Complimentary Cruise for 2", they gave us a form and told us to complete it and mail it to "Ultimate Executive Travel, Philadelphia, PA" along with a certified check for $248.00. The $248 certainly does not fit the definition of "Complimentary", however we felt the cruise would be worth the expense and sent the money.
We attempted to schedule the cruise only to find that "Ultimate Executive Travel" now demands an additional $1488.00. The total cost is much more than the amount the Cruise Line (Carnival) is asking, for the exact same cruise (Same Ship, Date, State Room, etc.) if purchased directly from them, and Carnival does not require us to expend our Time, Energy and Gas in order to make the purchase. Nor do they demand the added expense and bother of payment by certified check.

- I Submitted "Proof of Damages", a copy of the certified check receipt, but it doesn't show up on my "report completeness"?????
