I also was scammed by the visa Flexcard program. I was supposedly pre- approved for $1,100.00. With a one time fee of $69.99, which I would get back after I made my first three payments on time. For an additional $29.99, I could increase my limit to $2,100.00. I to
thought it was too good to be true. I checked their website and called the phone number ( after hours ), to see if it was a real number for them, and it all seemed for real. After approximately eight business days, I called the number only to get a busy signal. Too busy to keep trying, I called a couple of days later, only to get a busy signal again. After repeated attempts, I finally got through. The very polite woman looked me up in their system after giving my name and last four digits of my social, told me that my card was in transit, and it could take up to fourteen business days. I told her that I was releived that this wasn't a scam. That I couldn't afford to be out of the money that I put forward. She laughed and told me that this wasn't a scam, but understood my concerns. She asked if there was anything else that she could help me with, and told me to have a great day. This was approximately one week ago. Now I call and get a recording saying that they are closed, if I know my parties extension, I can enter it at any time. Then it hangs up on me. I also tried to send them an E-mail at, support@Flexcard program.com. I get a message telling me that sending the message failed. Everything is pointing to a scam now, unfortunately. I hope this helps someone else from going through the same thing I did. All I wanted to do was get a couple of presents for my 4 yr old, 2 yr old, and my wife, and slowly rebuild our credit at the same time.
