Answered an online add for a trial sample of Metabolism kick start and booty slimmer. The deal was to trial 30 day supply of tablets free and only pay for freight. Thought why not. Stupid me gave credit card details and now they are randomly taking unknown amounts out of my account with no receipt or acknowledgment of product.Still waiting for product as well. Got a phone number from a similar complaint logged and dialled to the US and got automated response which asked to press 1 if reply was to be in English or press 2 if in Italian. Call cut off when pressed 1.

- I've just posted the same story as you on same product. However I haven't had random amounts being taken out of my credit card...yet. Im cancelling my card before I do get hit with nasty debits. Sounds like there are many of us being scammed, it needs to go on media to make people aware because I'm sure like me most wont look for sites like this first...lesson learned...the bastards

- Yep. So have contacted my bank who gave me a heads up that there are more complaints from NZ customers. Got the phone number to ring from NZ 0018552803307 and after a half hour "chat" with very helpful Customer service person, I am now awaiting the refund of all amounts in the next 7-10 working days. Prob wont get foreign currency fees but....The bank also confirmed it is watching what happens but also to read the fine print on the receipt. Would be able to if i had one as that has not arrived either..

Hey folks, I have had a almost positive result. After some hard negotiating I have been credited back all money less foreign currency fees. Im down 20
$20.91 NZ but I guess thats the price to pay for stupidity in taking this on in the first place. Lesson Learnt !!!
I have to say I am impressed with the customer service person who arranged the refunds. She certainly kept up her end of the deal.
I just wonder how many other folk in the world would take the time (around 4-6 hours) to haggle with the company, deal with the bank and arrange closure of the card account and open a new account plus transfer income and auto payments , sort through the bank account to find all the transactions and finally prepare and place a refund request???
Am now a whole lot more cautious of handing out credit card details to anyone.. -
