Said he represented RCI. Wanted my permission to rent out my week(s) at Welk Desert Oasis. I would receive $2300 in a cashier's check when his client used it within the next calendar year ?? minus the registration fee of $500 . He asked which of my credit cards I wanted to use. I replied I was not purchasing anything and stated that this request seemed to be a scam. He got indignant and hung up. What worries me is that he seemed to know. which card I use---perhaps even the number
