I was towards the end of a purchase of a new pair of Nike Air Max running shoes through a website that did not identify itself as the Shanghai Yu Zhi Li Trading Co. LTD. It was (I think) nikeshoesforless.com or nikeairmax.com or a site close to those....I do not recall. If I can somehow locate the correct site name I will post ASAP.
Unfortunately, after I submitted my cc info and shipping address I hit enter and waited for the confirmation page to appear.... and all I received was an error screen. No order confirmation on the screen and no order acknowledgment sent to my email. At this point, I panicked and clicked the "contact us" and sent an email to them. Surprisingly, I received a return email a couple days later saying that they had no order with my name on it so I thought the issue had ended there. (What I should have done was call my cc company right after the failed transaction and alert them).
So naturally, I was wondering if my transaction went through....so I then clicked on "contact us" tab and emailed them my name and address (not my cc info) along my inquiry. A day or 2 later I received an email saying that they had no record of any transaction under my name. That was 3 weeks ago. Well tonight, I get home from work and I have a package from Shanghai from the Shanghai Yu Zhi Li Trading Co. Ltd. At this point I am completely confused as to why a company from China is sending me something???? I have NEVER bought anything from a company where upon receiving the goods, the return address was anything from outside the lower 48 United States of America. Furthermore, I do a lot of buying and selling online through ebay and make it a point to never do business with a company outside of the USA. What bothers me is they sent me the correct shoes I wanted, BUT a half size too big and now I have no receipt, phone number or return address to try and pull off a return or exchange. I have since cancelled that cc and will try and sell the shoes on ebay. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. If I can find the correct site I will.
