Posted a job listing for receptionist on craigslist then sent me a email stating they wanted to set up a interview before there manager goes away on vacation ..filled out pre interview screening then asked for a credit check so i filled that out as well and they took my credit card number to then find out "Newman careers & partners" are a false company and scamming people all over. Please don't fall for it. Upsets me so much what people would do for $ in a recession like this.

- Yes I did both. I requested a new card from my bank but do far I was only charged a dollar from the credit report website. I'm nervous about my ss

- Same here..I requested a new card..They didnt charge me any yet. But call credit report and cancel your plan..That's what I did..we can't do anything about s.s numbers..
