i was sent a check for and item being sold,it arrived via fed ex i had no idea the check was even coming...i recieved the check and called the bank listed on the check they even put me through to the person that authorized the funds...i deposit the check and now they say im a fraud and took away every penny i had not before closing my account and calling me a fraud.

Hello,
I work for the company involved in this complaint and would like to clear the record. Our company was victimized by having our banking info used to create fraudulent checks, used in a scam scheme over the internet with items being sold on the internet. The perpetrator would come into contact with interested buyer's then send them checks for over the amount of the item, asking them to deposit it and send them the difference...WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD DO THAT? I feel sorry for any one victimized by these criminals but people should know better and if something seems to good to be true than it probably is! Be alert people and know that my company was not responsible for the fraud. Also please note that after contacting the FBI and local police about the incidents we were just ignored. GOOD JOB DEFENDING YOUR PEOPLE AMERICA! -
