I applied for a position from a Craigslist advertisement. I was contacted by a seemingly legitimate human resources office, directing me to http://harrisandclark.info/Application.htm with a personal job code to fill out a pre-interview screening. I'm new to applying for jobs, and stupidly did not realize that credit reports are not standard in job applications. I was scammed out of one dollar in order to submit my credit report to this supposedly real company I was applying to.
