I never fall for these scams, because they sound too good to be true. However, this morning, I was feeling a bit desperate after looking at my credit card statement. I thought I'd give the Home Profit Web a try as I was promised an 'iron-clad' 30 day money back guarantee, so thought there was nothing to lose. Am such an idiot! I normally check the web to see whether companies like these are on the scam list, but I didn't with this one. I just received log-in details that don't work to a fake website that doesn't work. I've written to the support email to say I'd like an immediate refund, and no reply. Judging from other peoples' comments here, I don't expect to ever get a reply.

- Boy, does that sound familiar. I did the same exact thing. I contacted my credit card company right away and they said they can help me out of this. Lesson learned!!

- Hi Woodsper - I contacted my credit card fraud team immediately. I just have to complete a dispute form, and hopefully will receive a refund. Lesson definitely learned!
