A man with an Indian/middle eastern accent called my number and knew my name from a 000-000-0000 number and had me go through my computer and told me I had all these viruses. He showed them to me and they could not be deleted. He asked how I got them and I said "I don't know" and he said "you don't know much of anything". He had me go to the windows solution website and told me he could fix it with a plan costing anywhere from $99 for six months to $249 for two years that covered technical support. I told him I have my own coverage and if that didn't fix the problem I could call him back to order. He asked how he should report my problem to Microsoft and I told him to tell him whatever he wanted to. He wouldn't give me his number so we hung up. My computer has been working just fine.
