Accent Gilbert advertised on indeed.com for a personal driver for himself and his family who were supposed to be moving from London, UK to Oklahoma City on December 15, 2011. After being accepted for the "job", I was asked to accept a cashier's check made out to JOTA JEANPIERRE in Alameda, CA. in the amount of $3530.19 in order to have their furniture delivered. I was to keep $150 for myself for "running around money". After seeing several reports on this site involving the name JOTA JEANPIERRE in Alameda, CA. I refused delivery of the check......Thanks for providing this forum.

- I had the same thing! Ooo..makes me mad too see that first hand..No arrests, or punishment came form it but it was embarrassing to say the least. Same guy it seems but using a different name and city in California. I say we all who had this go to the address and "Teach him" a thing or two about fraud and being fake.

- Won't do much good to go to the address given......it is a second hand store in Alameda. I can't seem to get the FBI interested. This is not some scam from Nigeria, but domestic scammers taking advantage of people looking for work. Going to try my senator.
