I applied for a loan online a week ago, and since then I have been getting random phone calls about a payday loan. I received a call on 12/06/2011 from an middle eastern gentleman with an heavy accent, informing me that I was approved for a $300.00 payday loan and like everyone else story that I have read on this page I in return verified my information for him. He then in return told me that I qualified for some credit line of $2500.00 as well but when I declined that offer he acted like he had an attitude and then hung up, but before he hung up he told me to go to the website of loanfromphone.com to finish up the process and receive my loan but guess what that website directs you to loanbyphone.com which is checkintocash website. So in other words this website of loanfromphone.com clearly does not exist they have all my information and I am worried as to what they are going to do with it, can anybody else who fell victim to this help me with what the next step would be to keep our info from being used without our consent.
